CAA ACCREDITATION - UPDATE (INCL ROTARY)
Firstly - please consult the www.tgda.gov.uk website FAQs to see whether your particular question has already been answered - DON'T PESTER THE CAA!!. Currently the 7 Mar FAQ edition is on-line, but that should be updated by 30 Mar to include some of the more recent questions which have been received.
Rotary mates - the accreditation for ATPL(H) and CPL/IR(H) will hopefully be agreed in April incorporating JAR-FCL 2 requirements. However, accreditation for military RW pilots towards civil FW licences is also being worked on, but this may take rather longer as currently there is not much correlation between JAR-FCL 1&2. PLEASE BE PATIENT - YOUR INTERESTS ARE BEING LOOKED AFTER!!

Can't see there being too many favours, in one foul swoop FCL-1 took away the ability of a RW pilot to gain a FW ATPL with his 1250 hours rotary and 250 FW. Now he needs 750 FW and 1500 RW (RW = half rate).
BTW the latest FCL policy update spells out the accreditation of experience for MCC courses which will be of interest for RW types. See www.srg.caa.co.uk and follow the links for FCL
