THIS is TOO MUCH...CX aircrew required to log all activities

This is just too much.. Cathay staff required to upload details of activities in ‘Crew Activity Log’ app over first seven days of medical surveillance... Cathay Pacific has told its cabin crew personnel to use the airline's own tracking mobile app, which records every venue someone visits, even a friend's home.

Employees who fail to fulfill the requirement could be sacked, Cathay warned.

Say a friend is on 141 and finds a walk up. But after a quick tipple at Statunton's my friend finds himself somewhere in TST and has forgotten the name of the walkup he has attended for a night cap. Do I as a good citizen share with the company the review incase someone else can identify the building and flat number?

Edit: should my friend share*

This is utter BS.

I'd rather be in a hotel quarantine for 7 days than to have this kind of restriction in local community.

We should be given a choice of having to log our activities for 7 days while in local community or be in hotel quarantine for 7 days.

Just direct them to porn hub. Take a few selfies of yourself on the thunder box and add it for good measure. They are violating your human rights, privacy, and have halved ( in fact more than ) your remuneration. So it is about time someone tells them just to f&&k off. In several languages. I appreciate that a lot of us have already taken the high road, however, this should be leaked to the worlds’ press and every aviation authority worth their salt out there ( and CNAC isn’t one of them).
Perhaps Daphne has a cunning plan ? More inclusivity will help ?
How much more **** are you guys going to take ?

The main question is... Who will verify the log entries as truthful?
Pointless on the one hand, needlessly intrusive on the other.
I`d be tempted to log a link to Viz magazine's letters page.

Irritated, Sandy Beds.

I take it that’s an attempt an irony. Strikes and indeed trade Unions have been “security law’d “ out of existence.

Consider this as chapter 1 of your soon to be delivered "Little Red Book" Chapter 2 will likely start with a suggestion (quota) of sparrows to eliminate each day in your struggle to eliminate the tyranny of the West.... 🇨🇳

Honestly.. "ALL" smartphone manufacturers who wish to sell their phones in the #PRC "MUST" allow access to the government on request.. Period.
You and your "apps" in particular "location services" are monitored at will no mater what you're moaning about... You "choose" to live there; they make the rules NOT the feckless HK government..
