I hold an FAA ATP and fly in he Middle East. Want to do my Flying Instructor rating on my FAA ATP. Any recommendations on how to go about it ? Any recommendations for good flight schools ?
Thanks

I think you're getting your certificates and ratings mixed up - for FAA you'll need a CFI certificate, which will be easiest accomplished back in the US. Have a read of part 61

Thanks Rudestuff.
I think they call it different in different parts of the world.
Yes may be it should be CFI certificate. But can I get that without ever being a Flight Instructor ?

Yup. The minimum requirement to instruct in airplanes is a CPL and IR, so with an ATP you're covered. There's no minimum hours either, you just train until you're ready to pass the test. Be aware the test is HARD as you normally do it with he FAA - my oral took all day and we flew the next morning!

Please do as rudestuff has suggested and read Part 61. At the very least you'll find out what CFI is short for.

Hey, i'm planning to start an EASA FI course in Croatia in Feb 2026 and my school advised me to find a partner for the most efficient outcome (in order to make presentations/manuever demos to each other and give feedback).
It's a small but proffestional school - you should expect briefings/debriefings/SOPs etc and expected to be well prepared for the lessons with regard to theory and SOP.
DM me if interested.
