"What's That Noise?"

Lesson here re: read yer NOTAMS. Hope Mr.Shaksted doesn't get whacked too hard by the CAA - 38 years should count for something.

I love the artists impression - ya gotta love the Sun bless 'em! lol

Makes a change from the Reds themselves not reading NOTAMS (I have first hand experience that they don't always!) :}

A lesson to us all. I did like the bit on the same page;

A MICROLIGHT pilot, 54, was nearly seven times over the blood-alcohol flying limit when he hit a tree and died near St Albans, Herts, last year, air accident chiefs revealed yesterday.
7! At least it should have been relatively painless.

G-BZ that's the flying alcohol limit not the driving one. He was less than double the driving one, still a bit pissed but probably not arseholed (in technical terms).

DB6 is from Glasgow (bits of 'im, at least) so I bow to his far superior and technical understanding of the topic compared to my soft, southern approach.

I would of thought a blood alcohol level of at least 7 times the pilot alcohol limit would be a pre-requirement before going anywhere near one of those bloomin' things!
