Decipher Notam Please
Running a NOTAM route search this morning between DTY WCO BNN LAM DET and CLA the following came up as a separate section in the results.
At first I thought the Co-Ords were standard OS 6 figure grid references until I noticed the northings have 6 figures and refer to S and the eastings have 7 figures and refer to W - the CLA is definitely East of the 0 degree meridian and the TRA is 5nm East of CLA.??????? Answers on a postcard please! SPHI is in Peru. There's obviously a CLA VOR there which has somehow been included in your NOTAM briefing!

Clacton VOR is CLN 114.55, so you've asked the computer the wrong question, and it has answered it.

Doh!!!
Cheers troops,
I have my Nugget of the Day hat firmly affixed to my red-faced swede as I write!!:\ Think of a word, three letters long and sounds remarkably like 't*t'. Well impressed with the AIS website though, who'd have thought it!!! Thanks again. 2close |
