JAR Upgrades
 

Has any one made the giant leap from being a Basic FI to and Intermediate FI under the JAR system yet? Any problems - were you checked out by the CAA or an internal assessment? What was the groundschool content like - any way near the 509? Does anyone understand JAR??!!

I do not think the JAA Instructors ratings are available yet. When it does arrive it will not be anywhere near the standard required for a 509 instructors ticket!

Oats are training/renewing their Instructors to JAR. Instead of 509 read 682 under JAA.
