US based CAA instructor renewels ?

Anyone know of any US based CAA certified panel examiners who could renew my QFI rating ??
Preferably with access to cheap a/c hire ??
Thanks

Only a CFS agent can renew a QFI category as it's strictly a military qualififaction.

There is no such thing as a 'panel' examiner to renew a FI rating. If you need to renew at PPL level, you will have to attend a seminar (only ones I know of are in the UK) AND fly a check with a FIE. Did you mean revalidate or renew? If you mean revalidate then you can do the 2 out of 3 requirements of experience, seminar and flight check.

BEagle : Havent used it for 6 years (have over 1000 instructing) still waiting to hear what the CAA want me to do, but guess it will be at the discretion of a FIE (is that what used to be a 'panel examiner ?).

BTW : Is that you Colin A/F100 ???

George Bedford might be able to do it.

He is ex-Bristow's and was (probably still is)a UK FIE.

He's at HAI, Concord, San Fran.

Not sure on the cheap part!
