SPRINTING RABBIT 1st August 2001 19:27

RETURN TO BLIGHTY

HI,
AS A BRIT ABROAD, TEACHING ON A FAA CPL IR WITH FI RATING, I WAS WONDERING ABOUT RETURNING TO THE UK FOR THE COOL AND CRISP WINTER.
MY QUESTION IS : WHAT SORT OF CONVERSION WOULD I HAVE TO UNDERTAKE AND WHAT WOULD BE THE APPROX. COST TO BECOME AN FI IN THE UK?
I REALISE I WOULD HAVE TO RESIT THE JAA CPL, IR AND FI RATINGS, BUT IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE REQUIRED?
I INITIALLY GAINED A CAA PPL BUT THE WARM WEATHER AND A JOB OFFER DREW ME ACROSS TO FOREIGN SHORES.
THAT SAID, I AM MISSING ALL THE THINGS THAT MOST OF YOU HATE IN THE UK AND INTEND TO RETURN IN THE NEXT 6 MONTHS.
ANY HELP ON APPROX COSTINGS AND TIME SCALES WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. WHO KNOWS, SOMEONE MAY EVEN WANT MY JOB!

Sprinting Rabbit,

Love your handle, however the last time we had a Cool and Crisp winter here in the Good Ole Uk , Ted Heath was the PM, ever since those days with all the winters it has been damp and orrible!!
