Mil - Civ conversion

Has anyone had any experience of obtaining a JAA/UK FI rating, having had military instructional experience? Any advice would be good as I'd like to still do a bit of instruction in my free time.

Thanks in advance.

One of the ex-military blokes at our place got his civvy instructor rating recently, I think it was issued on the basis of his experience. Speak to the CAA and see what they say, and depending on your experience don't forget to try and get it issued without restrictions.

Thanks DB6 - last time I spoke to FCL about it I drew a blank asd nobody had heard of anyone doing it recently. Guess I'll have another go!
