Is it possible for anyone to get 100 percent in this exam, other than guessing.

Yes - if they're good enough!

Only one so far at our club!

Had a student today pass this exam, but 'only' 75%. She's now passed all 9 first time, some with 100, so pretty sharp.. She said there were definitely 2 questions not covered in Pooley's text book and other material she'd read. Guessed so can't know if she got them right or not. She didn't divulge the actual questions and I didn't ask her.
I think the de-brief method is inadequate but if it were more specific, it would let out the actual questions, a conundrum.

AOPA UK online ground school covers more at low cost per subject. (Students get two years free membership) And they have very good mock questions, from which they issue readiness certificates.

Yes, the debrief is inadequate.
Why are we not to know if the answers to questions are someones interpretation of a rule and thus wrong, look how many answers were wrong in the old paper exams..
Unless questions are fact based, there could be answers based on personal feelings, such as if windshear is reported at a field.
Do you, divert, take a chance and make an approach? Make some kind of adjustment?
These answer could be based on your comfort level, experience or aircraft performance.

I have spoken to other examiners and they same to agree this particular exam seems the hardest to pass.

ELT freq. is one i couldn't find in op. proc. section.
But why does a pilot need to know that.
OK might stop you buying out of date junk off ebay.

More appropriate might be to ask when to operate a ELT.

Looking over a candidates shoulder today i see some of the OP. Proc. answers have been changed.
