3rd country examiner (easa ) to complete PC tests in the uk

I was asked a question by a EASA examiner that in the old days (pre brexit )was able to do PC renewals on CAA (old easa )licences
he asked if it was possible to be accepted by the uk CAA to complete PC and initial type ratings tests like he did before

It depends what date their EASA Examiner certificate was issued.

If it was on or before 31st December 2020 then EASA examiners can conduct a Skill Test, Proficiency Check or AOC for CAA licence holders until 31st January 2022.

There are some other limitations all described here.

Then the only option is for them to apply for a UK licence and UK examiner certificate if they want to test UK licence holders. They won't just "accept" EASA examiner certificates unfortunately.
