Thanks. It looks like previously somebody took the reply and made an assumption, so that is corrected now. Next problem is I will be away working which leaves the ATO without a HoT or CFI in the UK and no one to delegate to, but that is another issue. |

That is correct, the UK ANO used to stipulate that the supervising FI should be present at the airfield, but neither the JAA nor EASA rules have included any such requirement however: FCL910 is quite clear about who may supervise:

That means that the FI(R) can still instruct under the supervision of a Microlight FI, provided that the FI(R) is instructing in a microlight |
