Revalidation of FI rating.

Thanks in advance.

I have a lapsed FI rating. Haven’t instructed in 10 years.

Cannot find what the requirements would be.

Anyone know. Or where to find it.

Where’s whopity when you need him/her?

In general: sufficient training with an FIC instructor to satisfy him/her that you are ready for the AoC. Probably about 5 hours. Then an AoC with an FIE.

Plus a FI Seminar. If the FI Certificate is in your licence the FIE can sign it up, if not, you will have to pay the CAA to reissue it, in which case the FIE can issue a Temporary Certificate, this is valid for a max of 8 weeks, can only be dated from the date of the AoC butmust be issued after all requirements are complete i.e. AoC and Seminar.
