Instructing candidate after partial pass

Is there anything to prevent an examiner conducting the mandated training after a partial pass before then examining the candidate for the second attempt?

Logic would suggest it is not best practice, just wondering if there is anything I'm missing in part FCL which prevents it happening.

There is no mandated training after a Partial Pass. The Examiner may recommend training, but only mandate it after an Attempt 2 failure or a move to Series 2. The EASA rule is that the Examiner should not have completed more than 25% of the required training.
