BIFM Pre Entry

Trying to write a course manual for this....

Can't find anywhere in Part FCL, AMC's and GM's pre-entry requirements to do the Basic Instrument Flight Module...?

Have found the syllabus and exercises, but not the entry requirements...

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

The BIFM is an integral part of the modular IR(A) course for which the only pre-entry requirement is to hold a PPL(A) or CPL(A). An applicant for the IR(A) course who holds a CPL(A) is credited with 10 hours of instrument time under instruction, which equates to the BIFM so the pre-entry requirement for that part of the course is to hold a PPL(A). Appendix 6 to Part-FCL refers.

Billiebob, I am also looking into the BIFM, do you know what certificate is awarded upon completion of this course?

A Course Completion Certificate for the BIFM.
