Metoffice web site

https://secure.metoffice.gov.uk/aviation/index.jsp

Have they had a few complaints already.
When I logged in yesterday to the new site, couldn't find weather radar and had to enter airfields individually for taf's through phone.
(Got to admit was on holiday with motorbike and wanted to see if I was going to get wet).
Why try and fix something that ain't broke.
If they had said from the start it was a phone app, then ok.
I would normally just venture to the web page and scan all taf's for my area and look at the weather radar.

Well got into site on computer. Not too bad I suppose.

Agreed....

I downloaded the new app onto my iPad, but fully intend to stay with the existing site for as long as it's supported. Perfectly ok as it is....

allmetsat - Weather reports and forecasts, satellite images, tropical cyclones, world climate data. is a good site for aviation weather.

I like to see the taf for a whole area or even the whole country has it helps see the bigger picture.

To put it bluntly this new site is awful!

Following my last post I have overcome some computer problems and the site is not quite as bad as my first impressions led me to believe.
