PPL low-weather training in Ireland??

Hallo Gent's

As I have to give answers in a dispute in which a Danish pilot, who obtained his PPL in Ireland, in the early 80' , I would like one or two experienced Irish PPL instructors to enlighten me how you do simulated bad ( too bad) weather training during PPL lessons. Ie.

Do you teach: 180 turns back to good weather?, land on nearest suitable airfield?, land in terrain?, or do you have a different approach to this difficult task?

Do you train emergency landings only down to 500' agl. or do you do The full Monthy??..:):)

Many kind regards.

Henning Mussegaard Fi / FI-FI / TRI
Capt (ret ) SAS

I would appreciate also private answer via mail :
