EASA Type Rating Examiner Interview

Dear Colleagues,

I have received an invitation from the authority to an interview for my initial issue of a TRE on my European license.

Has anyone been through this process at various European CAA's recently and can give me some feedback and tell me what to expect (tech-questions or personal intentions, etc...)

Thanks for your answers!

cheers
:D:ok:

Not something I have come across but I would imagin knowledge of the basic and aircrew regulation in particular the requirements for type rating issue etc

Also any privileges and reval renewal requirements for the TRE certificate.

Which Authority is this?

And where in the Regulations does it mandate an interview to become a TRE?

Thanks soo much for your replies. Really appreciate that.

I think I will go through some regulations and requirements to hopefully pass that interview...

Thanks again

Happy Landings!

A competent authority is required to establish and maintain an oversight programme for all organisations and personnel. It is perfectly within its rights to include an interview of prospective examiners as part of that programme.

Considering some people  whom have attained a TRE, I think an interview would be a good idea!
