I have always wondered:
what is the avg fuel consumption for a C150/C152? can it run on mogas in EASAland? cheers |
About 25 litres/hr, and not usually.

Thank you Ghenghis!
I was wondering, as an all around aircraft, is there an aircraft with the following specs: -run on mogas (STC EASA) -ifr CERTIFIED (EASA) -aerobatic, at least spins (EASA) Thank you and take care |

I prefer a stick as well. For me. What about for a training aeroplane however, which was my question? Are there real advantages to a stick in a trainer? It does lead me to the amusing vision of the instructor flying with a stick and the student with a yoke, though. :hmm: MB |
Well its not unheard of for the student to have a yoke and the instructor to have a set of mole grips.
Although it should both be stick if for nothing else than to stop instructors from getting a wack in the nuts on the full and free check. Although it would be pretty easy to have a floating short stick to replace a yoke. I actually quite like being able to move my legs around without the stick getting in the way on nav ex's. |
And, don't forget a bloody strong nosewheel:=

Hey guys,
I would like a stick and a low wing design. In my opinion one of the best training aircraft around is the katana. It is close to your requirements. Another really nice trainer is the aquila. AQUILA Aviation by Excellence GmbH - Flugzeuge mit Leidenschaft - Galerie It feels heavier, than the katana. They both need between15 and 20l Mogas. What do you think? Cheers, Chris |
One with overall running costs that are 1/2 what a Cessna 152 is.
