re-validating at expired PPL

Can anyone remind me of the process to revalidate an expired PPL SEP?

I am a current ATPL holder (airline flying) and I have just noticed that my JAR SEP has expired. Am i correct in saying that it can be renewed with a proficiency check with an examiner?

thanks.

thanks bose-x for the offer, but i'm miles from the midlands.

Can you tell me is the proficiency check a full test or partial?

Take a look at SRG1157 for the content. You never repeat the initial skill test regardless of expired or not ratings.
