exam expiry,
Hope some one can answer this,
I had an NPPL (M) and started my upgrade to JAR PPL but then i bought a group A plane so did my NPPL SEP instead (quicker as i wanted to fly my new plane) Whilst doing my JAR training i passed my written exams but when i did my NPPL SEP conversion it was only required that i passed my Aircraft gen. so i am sure thats the only exam the examiner put on my licence aplication form (although my flying school still has all my other exam passes) That was 2 years ago, and now i have a couple of hundred group A hours under my belt i am thinking of getting my JAR. Question is, do the exams go out of date based on the fact that they were in date when i passed my SEP (but not on my licence aplication form) funny one i know, but your help would be appreciated Dave |
In order to obtain a JAA licence you need to have passed all of the relevant (7) exams in a 18 month period, you then have 24 months to make the application.
