Ravenair FI Course

Calling all RVR Instructors, did a search and the last entry on the above course was in 2003!!

Couple of questions for you, how quick on average is Primo getting people through? and the chances of employment at RVR or other Liverpool based schools once completed?

Any other feedback welcome, I worked there in ops in the past, did PPL and hour building there, so am quite familiar with the place, but know very little about the FI side of things.

Thanks
NT

i cant comment about the FI course but i do know that a couple of instructors have recently left. I'd say there is potential for employment as i believe they like to employ people they've trained.

They have permanent adverts up for full and part-time FI's, implying that there is a fair chance of work.

Thanks for the replies and PMs folks, length of the course is important as I just about have the funds for the course and approx 5 to 6 weeks of beer/food/bills...

Will pop in and have a chat with Primo and see what he can roughly commit to time wise.:ok:

Yeh there is a greta chance of employement ther when you finished your FIC with them, Everyone I know who went on is there now. And the only instructors there who have been there over a year now are primo and paul fuller.

rvr is a good place to do the fic.

at the moment they are very short of fi's and are turning people away.

i worked there for 11 months, including a few months on there aoc then got taken on by an airline - all the feedback i have had is that working there has done me alot of GOOD.

generally, i enjoy'd working there. best place to work in the North West for FI's. you get a reasonable salary, you dont need to make silly wx decision's because you need to pay the bills. and you wont need to chase students around for business.
