Can Foreign JAA Instructor/Examiner sign?

Before I ask the CAA I try and get an answer here.

I would like to revalidate my SEP by flighthours (12) and trainingflight.

Can I do the trainingflight with a foreign JAA instructor and may a foreign JAA Examiner sign my UK JAR Licence.

Cheers
Joe

According to JAR, he can.

HOWEVER, some CAAs, like the LBA of Germany, prohibit this for the German licenced examiners (not for their instructors)...

So, basically, you have to ask your CAA if they'll accept it and the examiner if his CAA allows him to sign. -

You may get a more definite answere here if you name the countries in question.

cheers, IP

Yes but the UK CAA Form 1119 must be completed and sent to the UK CAA for recording.
