FI Issue

Hi all,

Just a quick question regarding hours. I am led to beleive that the 30 hours of the instructors course can count towards the 200 required for CPL issue. Am I correct in this? No mention in LASORS.

Cheers :ok:

From LASORS 2007:

D1.2(D)
NOTES

The 200 hours flying experience may comprise flight
time in any of the following capacities:

Pilot-in-Command/Solo (PIC), counted in full.

Pilot-under-Instruction (Dual), counted in full.

So, in a word.......YES

Thanks Beagle,

Starting the course next week. Having seen many of your posts, I see that you have a lot of knowledge and experience of instructing. What would be your best advice and tips for the course, and instructing? Feel free to PM

Many thanks

Yes it can count but if you don't hold a CPL then you need 200 hours of which 150 hours is PIC, before you can start the FI Course. JAR-FCL 1.335(a) and LASORS h1.2 Prerequisites (c) page4 Section H
