Why not just employ Indian pilots? If the Indian Air Force is anything to go by, India has some darned good aviators!

Why not just employ Indian pilots?

Beagle, why bother pointing this out - I would have thought any extra jobs a good thing - unless of course it is a scam!
(And there are enough jobs go to India in other sectors)

I'm just wondering why there's a trawl for ex-pats, when the usual reason for outsourcing to India is to reduce labour costs.

It would be interesting - and perhaps revealing - to learn what salary scales this 'world class FTO' is thinking of paying.......

Of course it would help if we knew what World Class means!

Is it based on the HCF or the LCD?

Shortage of pilots and inst. There is a desprate situation in India for pilots.

All the flt schools have lost their inst to the airlines, hence the need for expat inst. Dont know about world class:ugh:

Dear xxxxxx
Thank you very much for your interest in xxxxxx. Indian Regulations do not permit employment of Foreign Nationals as First Officers.
