first job advice please?

Any advice for newbie FI? I am looking for that first job when I complete my FI course in a couple fo weeks. Even though I am 40 with a family, I am willing to re-locate to get that magic 1000 hours. My ultimate intention is to get an IR and then do advanced training instruction, but we have all got to start somewhere.have

Thanks WWW for first advice and would welcome tips and leads from others as to which FTOs in the North of England/Scotland are expecting to recruit. Ideally I would like to stay close enough to Manchester so that my family recognise me, but apprecaite that the market may not to be firm enough to supprot this ideal. So where to go (or avoid)?

Ditto!

I should have my FI(R) rating in about five weeks and will be on the lookout for an FI job anywhere. I have an IR already. I know that it's not a good time to be an FI at the moment. Any hints or tips gratefully accepted from those in the know...

cheers!
