Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

Smile Medical Status

I'm currently without a Class 2 medical, due to a minor heart attack last year. I've been reading up on the Pilot Medical Declaration which would clear me to fly aircraft below 2000kg with passengers but it doesn't make clear whether I could instruct under these circumstances. Just wondering if any other UK instructor had any experience/info here. I'm the only tailwheel instructor in this part of the world. Any input gratefully appreciated

Cool

Thanks for the PM responses. My immediate need is to do microlight tailwheel differences (Escapade & Thruster). Finding definitive answers answers is a nightmare. Of course, it will all be better when we repatriate FCL!!!?

Do you really think so? With the CAA pulling one way and laughing boy Shapps pulling the other!
