Becoming an A330 SFI/ SFE as an A320 TRI/TRE

Hi all

What steps are needed to become an A330 SFI/SFE as a current A320 TRI/TRE?

I was told it’s quite simple but am not sure about this.

Thanks

Might be worth emailing that to below
address hopefully that will help. If not have you
contacted any Airbus ATO's etc who could answer that.

Thanks Kwaiyai - I sent the CAA an email some time back but no reply just yet. (I’m aware they can take a while to reply as they probably have more pressing issues to deal with like Brexit)

just wanted 1st hand experience from anyone that has done this or even the other way around (ie A330/A340 TRI/TRE to A320 SFI/SFE)

cheers

I was told it was simple before, but not any more.
Apparently one has to do the complete training, no facilitations.

This is what I was told some 12months or so ago by someone but I can’t seem to find any information on this and now it seems like CCQ A320 to A330 is required.

On another note - Does A330 endorsement also give you A340 and A350 entitlements also or is there further training required?

thanks again.

330 and 350 come as a single TR on the licence, A340 definitely not. No clue about the training privileges 330 -> 350.

A330/A350 that’s good to know.

Thank you.
