Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

SRG 1100

used to grant interim priveleges after a skill test (and others), but then it goes on to say not for initial issue? surely a skill test is for a student having completed his training etc., so can you issue him with an SRG1100?

No. From a CAA staff examiner yesterday.

If if you look at the form closely it does state rating or certificate - nowhere does it mention licence.
