Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

Any news about the new exam papers?

I haven't noticed anything about the new PPL and IMC/IRR exams for a while - have I missed it, have they died at birth, ... ?

Also, a long time ago there was talk of moving to an on-line system for PPL exams - has this made any progress?

Nope!! We are still using the ones issues about 18 months ago. To be fair they are not bad.

Now you've got me worried that I might have missed something because ours are 2014. They may not be bad but they've still got a chunk of irrelevant stuff in them. I've failed to find a list of current exams on the CAA's website - any pointers to where the list of current papers might be hiding?
