What's a decent salary for a Senior Grade 1 Instructor?

I have been doing a bit of research on wages and I'm interested to know what a Senior Grade 1 Flying Instructor with META and Instrument training approval should be earning. Anyone want to give me a heads up????

Depends where you are in the world, what your experience is, what currency you get paid in, what you are flying / testing etc. As you are posting from Sydney can we assume that's the first clue?

I'd say anything from 1500€ a month is pretty good for a IFR instructor here in Portugal...
