UK CAA Airworthiness Flight Tests
 

Unsure if this is the correct forum for this post but here goes.
Are the UK CAA the only NAA to require regular Airworthiness Flight Testing of in service Pax Transport Aircraft?
Has this requirement been analysed for safety/cost/reliability benefits?

(a) certainly the most suitable forum
(b) I suspect so
(c) probably not

Genghis - this question prompts me to raise one I have had in mind for some time. The total posts would not warrant a separate forum but would it be useful to change this forum's title to something like flight testing/certification issues ?
