Resources

Does anyone know of any decent flight test resources online - spreadsheets, software etc? If so I'd be delighted to hear from you!
Come to think of it, if you have any useful stuff you might want to email feel free!

http://www.setp.org is the obvious one, lots of useful papers. Similarly http://www.sfte.org which is less readable but has a lot more technical stuff.

Microlight spin testing guidance at http://www.bmaa.org/025_1.pdf

A selection of generic test schedules (again for microlights but modifiable for most fixed wing types) at http://www.bmaa.org/forms.htm (look at forms 010, 011, 027 - plus 034 is an ETPS style blank test plan pro-forma)

Guidance on performance testing light propeller aircraft at http://www.allstar.fiu.edu/aero/Airper-BA.htm

Lots of conversion factors and formulae at http://www.best.com/~williams/avform.html

A few oddments at the RAeS at: - http://www.raes.org.uk/light-av/papers.htm and http://www.raes.org.uk/raes /First/specialistgroups/specialistgroup.asp?sessid=&group=20
(The latter is rather profoundly uninformative)

That's about all I've got I'm afraid.

In the time honoured tradition of the internet, whilst looking for something else, I just found: -
http://trc.dfrc.nasa.gov/ftintro/

Which is a rather nicely presented introduction to FW flight test techniques published by NASA Dryden.
