CRJ 1000 Maiden Flight
Flew yesterday out of Mirabel, everything went smoothly.:ok:
Corporate > Media Centre > Press Releases |
Knowing the crowd at Bombardier slightly, I would have expected nothing less. Congratulations.
|
A/C 19991 was up for just over 3 1/2 hours with no major snags. The chase aircraft was the oldest RJ flying - A/C 7002 (my favourite aircraft). Congratulations to Chuck, Jacques & Eugene who showed the great team work when they insisted the chase crew (Ed, Adam & Andreas) be included in the first flight photos.

It'll be a great airplane - right size, right time, right economics!
Keep pushing, guys. |
A few pictures
19991 and 7002 overfly the Mirabel Plant

Biggest stretch??
Do you suppose the CRJ1000 is the biggest percentage stretch, ever: i.e. from the 19 pax on the original CL-600 Type Certificate to 100 pax (presumably) on the CRJ1000??
