Armstrong Siddeley Motors Test Pilots
 

Hi,

I am trying to find out any information on two Test Pilots who flew for Armstrong Siddeley Motors,both were ex A&AEE to feature on my website.

Sqn Ldr Waldo Price-Owen CTP RAF born 1916
Sqn Ldr James Starky DSO DFC RNZAF born 1916

Sorry don't know much apart from:

They were both students on No2 course at ETPS

From accident reports concernig aircraft they were flying Price-Owen was still on A Sqn in Dec 46 but in May 49 was flying from Bitteswell for Armstrong Siddeley. He died in 1969.

Starkey was still on B Sqn in April 45 but in November 54 was flying from Bitteswell for Armstrong Siddeley.
