F35 FT AoA

Hi,

Is anybody aware what the target max AoA for F35 will be in the production FCS?

Obviously I only want to know if the information is public.

Thanks

Not quite sure what you might have in mind by the term 'target max AoA' but let us assume you mean the max AoA you would be allowed to yank (no pun intended) to.

Without knowing the first thing about the aircraft concerned and assuming you mean the above I would think you would have to decide the speed and mach number and perhaps even the altitude that you had in mind before anybody could give you an answer - even if they wanted to!

If LM aren't designing the FCS to cope with AoA of up to +180° and down to -180° then they're going to have problems. For the B version anyway. :}

haha good lad :)

i was talking about in aerodynamic flight, but good point :)

to clear up, the AoA schedule will reduce with mach number and certain FCS pushdowns, so low speed with no rolling or beta pushers (etc)

any ideas?
