Night Flight Testing
Hello everyone
I need help in determining if there is any regulations be it CAA FAA JAA ..etc wich allows or prohibits flight testing of a twin jet airliner an A320....thanks bflyer |
Unless you are testing specific items related to specific night conditions,ie NVG,IR, lighting, then I wouldn`t start digging a hole yet..
Suggest you also read-up on the Airbus accident, and also the UKAAIB report on the `runaway`737`. Second and third questions will be `WHY`,WHY ...? ? Third Q,if you are in a land of cedar trees, think also about recent accidents,at night to aircraft not doing flight-testing.... Notwithstanding the first paragraph, why would you want to wait all day,and then go testing at night ?...far better to sleep well, and go early in the morning.... |
thank you sycamore.....i agree with you 100%
The bean counters asked the question and it had to be answered with a reference to shut them up for good |
I don`t know of a reference ,but it is usually filed under `Common Sense` ,and also `Airmanship`....!

Yes, but why is it that 90% of the time test airplanes always seem to get signed out at the stroke of twilight?
