CASA & FAA TC's issued for GippsAero / Mahindra Aerospace Airvan 10

The latest Aircraft from Australian Aircraft Manufacturer GippsAero the 10 seat RR M250 turbine powered GA10 or AIRVAN10 as it is now marketed was achieved Type Certification in both Australia and the USA in this last week.

This is the culmination of several years work from this company who already hold TC for the GA 200 cropduster, as well as the naturally aspirated and turbo charged versions of the GA 8 piston single. Additionally Gipps/Mahindra also hold the TC, and provide support for, the GAF N22/24 Nomad.

This coming year will also show STC's for skis and floats both straights and amphibs for AIRVAN 8 followed by the AIRVAN 10 next year it is anticipated.

Gipps at present has the Experimental prototype GA 10 VH-XGY or X1 s it is known in developmental work for mods, options and enhancement programs, and is preparing the second aircraft, P1, the first production airframe, for marketing and demonstration duties in the coming months. P2 is due into service in October on the present schedule with several deliveries programmed for the coming year.
