Probably going to get in trouble for this as i suppose
its a job ad but wasn't sure where else to put it
sorry....
For your Info Aviance at sou will soon (like next
week) be advertising for "dispatchers".
Due to the overwhelming influx of the pale blue ones
(flybe) we are extremely extremely short staffed and
existing load contriollers have 10 flights to do
loadsheets for (on 3 different systems) and 10 a/c to
dispatch in an 8 hour period! so we need help.
initially this wil be purely a run loadsheets out to
an a/c do lmcs and run the turnaround, but when we
have the manpower to cover the training period you
will get trained to do load control too.
The money aint great but i'd much rather we get
someone with an ounce of experience rather than any
tom dick or big issue seller off the street.

yawn....! Sounds pretty quiet then! I dream of only 10 flights in 8 hours... I Wish! - plenty of time for the crossword then!
