Working In Operations Control Centre (OCC)

Hey!

In the US it seems to be very clear how to become a flight dispatcher (you obtain a license) while in Europe I fail to find any information whatsoever on how to become a flight dispatcher in the airline operations control centre.Up until recently I thought that this profession was unique to the states; but I came to realize that several major airlines in Europe have an OCC where you can do similar duties:

Air France

Finnair

SAS

However, I don't find any information regarding the most common path to enter this profession. Is it to get an FAA license in the US or do corporate work and that way enter the OCC?

Any clarification would be highly appreciated!

Regards
