accelerated FAA Dispatch courses

Anyone out there done an accelerated FAA dispatch course anywhere? Im considering doing the full course at the end of the year but have 2 years airline experience as a load planner and dispatcher. I also have a PPL, is this enough knowledge to do the accelerated course or would i best off doing the full course!!
Any info appreciated.

Llesson,

it depends what you are up to. I got my ticket a while back with a full (6 week) course. We had a guy with a U.S. ATPL on the course and he was struggeling.

It depends if you

a) Just want to get your license

or

b) Want to gain something from the course

In case of

a) The accelerated will probably do, if you prepare yourself and go with a school that gives away licenses for min. effort

b) Should you plan to spend the extra $$ and get a good base knowledge.

Cheers
