Overfly/Landing Permit

Good morning,

If I have the landing permit for an airport (e.g. : VOMM), does it mean that I also have the overfly permit for India ? Or do I have to apply for India's overfly permit separately ?

No need to apply for overflight permit separately if you are flying from VOMM directly to your next destination.

Overfly permit is valid if you have a landing permit for VOMM.

Landing permit valid to over fly but if you exist the fir you will need another permit to over fly

Landing permit valid to over fly but if you exit the fir you will need another permit to over fly

Not necessarily so. Overfly approval of Indian airspace is only needed if overflying land mass. You can also exit India airspace and cross Sri Lanka without their permission.

India Landing / Overflying Permit

Sir, As long as it is a continuation of the same flight with complete routing mentioned (Origin / Destination / VOMM Landing) no seperate permit is required or issued.
