Hi everyone

I recently applied for the part time security officer role at Heathrow.

I got through the ScreenX test and was sent an email to complete their 'Talent Screener' which I did and sent through my answers. I received an email saying that they will be in touch within a week but this Wednesday (23rd Jan) will be 2 weeks with no contact. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this wait or if it is safe to say I've been given the early boot? My application still says 'Active' on my BAA jobs page however.

Hoping someone can enlighten me on this.

It could be because BAA no longer exist. Look on their website and all will be explained

Oh I see. I've always kept my page open on the login screen so I wouldn't have seen that. Thanks for that pointer. So all correspondence may well be delayed then judging by what is on their home page?

Maybe, they are stand alone now, it says on home page that updates will appear as and when

Thanks for your response. I've had this before. The communication was a bit hit and miss so maybe it's just another case of this. And it was only a matter of time before someone sarcastic came along with a comment like purple pitot's. Pardon me for coming to a forum for help. Forgive me, I seem to have made a mistake.

So it seems Heathow are now under a different name but apparently names of contacts will stay the same. Is a waiting game I guess.

The same thing has happened to me. I applied for the BAA security officer job a a bit earlier in January and they haveN'T replied to tell me whether i hae reach inetrview stage or not yet. i did email them and then i contacted them by calling. they said keep waiting. they said if i dont get an intevriew they will let me know too. they said keep waiting. im guessing they have hundreds of applicants. it is a bit odd though to take this long isnt it? dunno. but id love to have insights into their recruitment process. i feel im left hanging. have they replied to u yet? what is your situation now? anyone have any idea what is going on? do eren and i just keep waiting?
