Desert goddess requires information on ASU for afghanistan

Good got your attention as my last thread didnt get me anywhere.

OK, seriously I need information on a TLD ASU 500 Jet Start Unit we are currently looking at purchasing for Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan.

I would appreciate any information you could give me on this product.

The unit you require details is used for a one shot start and then requires charging which takes some time, a standard air starter is more suitable for a wide range of aircraft. Look up different models for the volume of flow required. Don't under specify!!

Don't buy a 2nd hand 500 model as their usage is very limited. I should assume that any support/spares will be non existent. There is one in Ras al Khaimah if you want to see one.
