has anyone else heard the rumour that virgin are interested in merging with easyjet to make virgin europe ?:ugh:

Have not heard about poss virgin/easyjet merge....But there was a small rumour going round at STN a few weeks back that virgin had been asking about the big diamond hanger...as SR tecnics are soon to pull out of there ......and that's the place easy jet have there aircraft serviced at night.....put two and two together if you like?????

Didn't Virgin merge with some lot from Belgium about 10 years ago to make a European feeder into Gatwick?
