NJE Lay Offs
 

Bad news from NJE in Lisbon. According to Portuguese national press 80 staff in Lisbon to be laid off with immediate effect. Reliable sources indicate that this could be closer to 100. It seems the hardest hit are the Ground Transport, Catering and Flight Services departments but with no departments at all being totally unaffected. A sad sign of the difficult times the industry is facing coming on top of 300 potential pilot redundancies for NJE plus London office staff and 300 or so in the US.
