BA ops

someone knows whats going on with BA? i heard they have 14 747 AOG and I had a reply by the director of flight ops that due to the financial climate they are resizing ops and cutting down on personnel :ugh:

They plan to ground 8 744's later this year, they are not grounded yet though. BA are also doing the same and grounding some 757's.

Yes BA are resizing their operation, as per above, and that is involving reductions in manpower.

Is that another 8 including the 2 parked up at CWL? Hence 10 long haul aircraft down in a year?

Any idea on the routes it will be affecting?
Also if ex LHR or LGW?
