Payrise?
 

Anybody been told your not getting a payrise this year because of the downturn in the aviation/airline industry?

A pay rise?


What the hell is one of those? Never had one of them!!

YES! Freeze and cut in that order. :yuk:

yeah, no payrise altho thats not a surprise, but also told of a list of things which we will now automatically get fined £30 for doing (no warnings)..

Fined by who?!!!!! For doing what?!!!!!!

by company, comes out of the bonus system.. basically any breach of standard protocol.. have heard this is a new thing which many companies are starting to adopt..

anything to get their money back i guess :ouch:

Oh dear,looks like we are all in for a long summer!

I think a great deal more Beligerence is needed at the moment . . not to say we cant HELP our respective companies (whether on the ground or in the air) but its time that the abuse and exploitation (yes i just said that) of workers by companies within the industry stopped . .alas i cant see any other way of stopping it unless some serious action is taken or some form of incident highlights the poor conditions and pay of so many safety-critical team members.
