north atlantic prefer route

hi all,
can somebody of you give me some guide line to how send my prefer route on the north atlantic? I now that big airline do this several hours before the actual flight planning.

hey crjlover
mainly what you have to do is to file a PRM (preferred route message) sent via AFTN to the appropriate OAC (gander for eastbound-shanwick for westbound) you should provvide this info asap, and not later than 1900 utc for the following day time OTS and 1000 utc for the following night time OTS.
addresses and formats for provviding PRMs are pubblished in the canadian and UK AIP'S\NOTAMS.
