Rumour or not?

Anyone heard rumours of Ops staff being laid off at Monarch? If true what does it say about airlines valuing their experienced front line staff?

yep seems to be true, a few at LGW have been told they are surplus, the company is restructuring, saving money.

Seems to be the way in the UK Charter market, changes at AEU and consolidation everywhere...
